Halee turns seven!!!

Our little Halee is seven. She is growing up. She is a smart little thing. I can't believe how well she can read. She plays music by ear. When she hears someone playing something, she sits right down and plays it too. Halee can be so thoughtful. She lets her little brother go first, she brings him toys or treats from school, instead of keeping it for herself. I see Halee becoming more and more aware of how others are feeling. She is a sweetie.

First Day of Jr. High

I can't believe my Lacee is in Jr. High! Where does the time go? She is such an amazing young woman. I hope she will have enough time to do all the things she likes to do. It's going to be a very busy year for her.

First Day of School!

Halee and Tragdon started school this week. It is a little weird having the house so quiet. I've waited a long time for this day, now that it is here, I'm not so sure. I really miss them. But is was so nice to go to the temple on Friday with Chet and not have to worry about getting back to pick someone up. I think we are really going to like ALA. The kids had a great first week.

Nelson Reunion

We had a blast at grandma Nelsons house. Tragdon was in heaven roasting hotdogs over a fire. I don't know if I should be worried about his fascination with fire. He just loves it.

Running

I ran four miles with Chet, Colby, Heather, Valerie and Jackson today. Doing the toe running thing seems to be working. My calf muscles are so sore, but my foot feels great! It was so fun being outside, running and chatting with the fam. We have so much enjoyed our time with everyone. So sad that it is almost over. We have such great family on both sides. We are truly blessed and our kids are so blessed to have such wonderful people to look up to. I am so grateful for all that our family has done and continues to do for our kids. Feeling very blessed today.

Beautiful!

I love how beautiful nature is. The sun, the green grass, the water and of course the children. It makes me so grateful to be alive and to be able to experience peaceful moments like this. The kind that you wish you could freeze, stop in time, bottle up and experience over and over again.
