Running
I ran four miles with Chet, Colby, Heather, Valerie and Jackson today. Doing the toe running thing seems to be working. My calf muscles are so sore, but my foot feels great! It was so fun being outside, running and chatting with the fam. We have so much enjoyed our time with everyone. So sad that it is almost over. We have such great family on both sides. We are truly blessed and our kids are so blessed to have such wonderful people to look up to. I am so grateful for all that our family has done and continues to do for our kids. Feeling very blessed today.

My Beautiful Halee
This is my beautiful Halee. She was just playing on the dock and I couldn't resist taking a couple of photos. She has had a lot of fun getting to know all the cousins. Her favorite part was dancing last night. She asked if it would be okay to dance tonight (Sunday) since church would be over. She could have danced all night.

Up and running again!
So after a year and four months of this foot injury, I have started running again. A few weeks ago, Chet started doing the "Insanity" work out and so I joined him a couple of times, and it is a crazy insane workout. It didn't bother my foot even though you have to do a lot of movement, but it was mostly on the toes. So I thought maybe I would try this toe running thing. Monday morning I went out and jogged for about 10 minutes, my heal never touched the ground. I was a little worried, but my pain did not increase. My calf muscles were so sore that I couldn't try again until today. I feel great! So out of shape, but great. I am cautiously optimistic. It feels really weird to run on the balls of my feet, but hey, it's running and I'm desperate!

Last Day Together
It has been the best two weeks having Natalee, Kyle and Abby staying with us. They are the cutest little family and so fun to be around. Our precious little Abby has stolen our hearts and now she is leaving. We are all heart broken. I am so grateful for eternal families. Even though we will be separated by a few (or so) miles, we will be together forever in the eternities. I love my family more than anything. They bring me more joy (and sometimes pain :)!) than anything else. Natalee and Kyle have been a shining example for the rest of the family. Kyle has connected so well with Carson and been such a great influence for good in his life. I cannot even express my gratitude for the blessing that Kyle has been for our family. And my Natalee is so solid and I could not be more proud of her. I still sometimes marvel that she is my daughter. I think the Lord sent her to us to straighten us out! :) The gospel ties us all together and unifies us. I feel so blessed and grateful for my family.
